Record number of Golden Award participants

The first step is simple: you register with Award Netherlands using the form below and immediately afterwards you pay the participation fee of € 40.00 via iDeal. When all data and payment have been processed, you will receive a confirmation including a link to the site of the Online Record book. There you create an account for the registration of all activities and then you can get started together with your Award Leader

Laura tells her story, “What I love about this program is that everyone can participate. That inclusiveness, no distinction between origin, education, religion or whatever, I learned a lot from that. Working together to bridge differences is an important value. At the international events, you feel that very clearly. All the countries put the program together in their own way, everyone has their own culture, but still everyone implements the same values. That starting point is the same everywhere. That makes you feel connected to each other.

The Award is about your own development, your own goals, so you can stay very close to yourself. To what you enjoy doing.

What have I learned most from? That's a difficult question, I've learned so much. But one expedition will definitely always stay with me, because so much went wrong. We had to bike a long way and had quite a few problems along the way. Flat tires, luggage racks falling off the bike, getting lost. The great thing is that we looked for and found solutions together. I learned that you can rely on each other, that perseverance leads somewhere. That makes me proud of myself and that is a good feeling.
